Yellow River Wetland is a National Natural Reserve with a total area of 68 thousands hectare in Henan province. It's a bird breeding place with over 41 types of animals under first-grade and second-grade protection at the state level.

Zhenbaodao Wetland Nature reserve is in Eastern Hulin city, Heilongjiang province. It was listed as a national nature reserve in 2008. Zhenbaodao Wetland mainly comprises marshes and island-shaped forests,it accommodates all the biological species in the Sanjiang plain area and serves as a rich gene pool.
A bird's eye view of Xixi Wetland Park in Hangzhou,Zhejiang province. Xixi wetland is the first and only national wetland park in China. Located in the Western part of Hangzhou, it covers a total of 11 square kilometers or 26,000 acres. The park is densely crisscrossed by six main watercourses, among which are scattered various ponds, lakes and swamps.
