UBS: IMF report raises possibility of yuan inclusion

BEIJING, Aug. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- UBS said it is possible that the yuan may be added into the currency basket due to the report, as the International Monetary Fund will vote later this year.
UBS chief economist Wang Tao said the IMF report may even raise the possibility of including yuan in the agency's special drawing rights. UBS said that the IMF would approve the yuan's status in the special drawing rights this year and the currency would get into the basket next year due to technical reasons.
